Reigning Cats is a small cattery in the rural area of Frederick County, Maryland, where we show Maine Coon and Siberian cats. Our goal is to contribute to the breed by raising healthy, happy kittens that are true to the breed standard. We enjoy showing our cats in both CFA and TICA shows and many of our cats are dual-registered. I actively participate in several cat clubs and support rescue events. I am a member of the CFA Siberian Breed Club, the Siberian TAIGA group, Maine Coon Breeder Fanciers Association, the CFA Maine Coon Breed Committee and the CFA Capital Cat Fanciers club. Occasionally, we have cats or kittens available to a good home. We strive to raise quality, healthy, well-adjusted cats and kittens that are raised in a clean household where the cats are not caged and are generously spoiled. Each kitten will receive a minimum of two FVRCP vaccines and are checked by our veterinarian prior to going to their new homes. Additionally, I provide testing on a fecal sample of the litter through a lab and will provide a copy of the test results with the kittens health information. We only use non-adjuvant vaccines so to eliminate the risk of adjuvant-induced fibro sarcomas. Each adult cat has been FeLV/FIV tested and are up-to-date on their vaccines. We screen our Maine Coons for HCM and SMA. We also have began screening our Siberians for HCM. Our adult cats have premium quality pedigrees to ensure optimal genetic health and show quality kittens. We feed our cats top human-quality foods, including Orijen, Fromm, Royal Canin, and Taste of the Wild (grainless) dry cat foods; and Wellness CORE, Innova, Innova EVO, California Natural, Merrick and Solid Gold wet canned cat foods; along with natural foods such as raw meats and bones consisting of free-range chicken and turkey, organ meats, hormone-free eggs, and goats milk. Our kittens are well socialized in our household, where they live with our dog, Max, and enjoy the company of our grandchildren and neighborhood kids who love to come play with them.  Our health guarantee covers any reported unsound health within 72 hours upon pick-up of the cat or kitten and covers up to six months for congenital birth defects. If a problem is reported, a replacement kitten will be provided when one is available. Our cattery is an expensive and serious hobby, not a "for profit" business. Our adoption fee covers vet expenses, genetic screenings, food, supplies and cattery maintenance. We occasionally have litters born throughout the year, but most kittens are adopted to people who make a reservation. We take pride in our kittens and want them to go to a good home. Therefore, please don't be offended if we ask you questions about your home, children and other household pets. We only adopt our kittens to homes that agree to keep the kittens indoors, will NOT declaw, and will provide them with only the best love and care that can be given to them. Please contact us if you are interested in a kitten so we can add you to our list of people to notify when we have kittens available. The kittens will be able to go to their new homes at 12 weeks of age and will have their health records with a copy of their parents pedigree. The registration paper will be provided to you once we receive proof of spaying from a licensed veterinarian.
